Floor sawing is used to cut horizontal, flat surfaces such as concrete slabs, runways, bridge surfaces and roads. It is a quick and cost-effective method to cut plumbing and electrical trenches in existing concrete. Floor sawing includes expansion sawing, which is required in new concrete floor slabs to provide a cutting which minimizes cracking of the slab allowing for movements caused by temperature changes and drying shrinkage.
B&S Concrete Cutting service has a range of floor saw sizes to suit most applications including hydraulic and diesel powered machines. Floor saws are able to cut up to 500 mm in depth depending on the machine used. Floor sawing is commonly used for cutting flat services such as motorways, bridges, pavements and floor slabs.

All of our concrete cutters have a minimum of 12 months on-the-job training before working in the field as a machine operator. Additionally, all operators follow strict safety procedures to ensure the work is carried out with minimum risk and to the highest standard.
